Looking back...

I remembered my first day at Lines. I was very excited because I did not know anybody here. But during the second day I met one guy I had met two years ago. I found new friends very quickly and we had a lot of fun together. I liked most the weekends because there we could go shopping and we could do a lot of sports. The schools days were also quiet good but sometimes I thought that they never would stop.
All in all I enjoyed my four weeks here at Queenswood and I think I have improved my english a lot.

My everday life in the 16th century

First the thing when I woke up is that I would take a bath, because I would be a Baron, so I have enough money to take a bath everday. then I would have a very long breakfast. Then I would change my clothes and would ride with two hundred of my best soldiers through my kingdom to frighten my folk and show them my power. In the afternoon I would have a knights tournament with a lot of fights and a lot of fun. In the afternoon there would be a huge dinner with a lot of beer and wine. after three hours of drinking and eating I would go to sleep.

Windsor Castle

On Thursday we had an excusion to Windsor Castle, the second home of the Queen when she isn`t in her home, the Buckingham Palace in London. The Castle was very huge and also very nice. In the castle we could see some rooms of the Queen, where we wasn`t allowed to take pictures, but I took some pictures. I also liked the changing of the Guards in the Castle. Later we had some time to go shopping in Windsor.

My Hometown Aachen

My Hometown is Aachen which is in the West of Germany, very close to the border of Belgium and the Netherlands. Aachen is a very old city. 2000 years ago the romans were the first people who lived in this area which is called today Aachen. In the time of Charles le Magne Aachen was his most favourite city.

Now the old cathedral and the cityhall, which both are more than 600 years old.

In Aachen there is also every Summer the world biggest horse festival called CHIO. People from all over the world came to this festival.

My first weekend at Lines

The last weekend was very short.

At Saturday we had an excursion to London. Our first stop was in Oxfordstreet. There we could do a lot of shopping and I saw a lot of very interessting things.

On Sunday I went to a Tennis center called "Gosling Tennis center". We played there a lot of Tennis, about five hours, it made a lot of fun but in the evening I just wanted to see my bed.

Excursion to London

On Thursday we had an excursion to London. We went on a sight seeing tour and afterwards we visited the British Museum which is very huge. During the sight seeing tour we saw a lot of parades of the British army and the guards of the Queen. In the museum I had to find out the appereances of some Egyptian gods, which was quiet hard because I did not found every god.
